my cell phone paint is peeling, but there are still areas where the paint stayed any ideas on how to get it off

Nail polish remover would probably do it, or you can buy a new cover for it. That'll probably be a better idea.

i had this problem too with my phone.. but my phone model doesnt have cover accessories on sale..so,rather than peeling the paint off, i sent the phone to one of those phone salons..they kinda 'pimped up' my phone by glueing on zebra print fabrics and diamantes..which in the end looks really nice..they are many designs and colours to choose from.. You can customize it anyway you want it..
