How do you get tape off without peeling paint?

so me and my mom have been painting her house and we put the blue painters tape around the trim but now when we try taking the tape off it starts to peel the paint off the walls with it. we are using dutch boy flat indoor paint. Does anyone know how to take it off without it doing that? How do you get tape off without peeling paint?
It might help to pull the tape by making a very sharp angle when pulling it off. Take the end of the tape and pull it up and back down towards the tape. The loose end should be almost against the tape still stuck down. The sharp angle will often help keep the tape from sticking to the paint.

you should get the blue tape off while the paint is still wet, maybe just few mins after you painted the area, otherwise it is easy to peel off paint.

put some ice on the tape and wait, it will come out easily without peeling the paint.
Heat the tape up with a blow dryer as you peel it.
you don't no matter what you do the paint is probaly old
