What causes good ceiling paint to bubble, when applied with roller.Which then if broken looks like peeling?

By broken I mean roll over bubbles with roller. What's left is a spot that looks like you culd peel it.What causes this and how can it be corrected? What causes good ceiling paint to bubble, when applied with roller.Which then if broken looks like peeling?
Painting is all about preparation. Ceilings should be washed with TSP, and for an excellent job it should be painted with a primer. Also, be sure you are using the correct roller type with your paint and texture of your ceiling. What causes good ceiling paint to bubble, when applied with roller.Which then if broken looks like peeling?
I think it has something to do with heat and the paint shrinking im not totally sure but the solution is to use artex on the celing, its textured paint that wont crack or peel and hides any imperfections
ya what just said.. see above
Water based latex over oil based paint.

You have to scrape the peeling paint down to the under layer and then use a primer before applying latex paint.
