Is there something i can prime hardened clay with to keep accrylic paint from peeling off of it?

You could try spray on clear coat, found at most stores near spray paint. Put on 2 coats and let dry thouroughly, then try painting it. Then, I would coat your paint as well after you are done to protect your paint.Is there something i can prime hardened clay with to keep accrylic paint from peeling off of it?
Im not sure how well this will work for you because the material is pretty thick but once its dry you should be able to paint over it. Its called rubberizer. You can get it at Home Depot or any hardware store.Its in the HD painting dept. It comes in different colors including a semi clear however if there is alot of intricate designs some of it will probably get lost because the material does poolIs there something i can prime hardened clay with to keep accrylic paint from peeling off of it?
If your acrylic is peeling, there is still some moisture content to the clay or there is too much moisture around it. If you're sure the piece is completely dry...spray or paint on a waterproof sealer, then paint.
