I have paint peeling off of my car?

My cars paint is starting to peel off on the hood and fender, its nothing serious yet, but i want to get it fixed before it turns serious, the car is in vey good condition, so do you think that getting this fixed will be expensive?I have paint peeling off of my car?
Depending on the age of the car and the kind of paint it is, and as long as it's not red or a custom blended color, the area to be covered and intricasies (inner lip where hood and fender join), after the shop sands down an even larger area, primes it and paints it, you might be looking at 8 to 12 hours plus materials. If the car is older or has sun damaged paint, matching it could be difficult. The paint code will be on the car somewhere, but nobody makes pre-faded paint yet. My best cheap guess would be $200-$300I have paint peeling off of my car?
$500-$1500
It may just be the clear coat that is peeling on the hood, that is not bad to repaint. It is common for bumpers to peel because there is a special paint additive to increase flexibility as the plastic can bend. If that fails the paint peels. A hood and bumper if they both need paint say 500 to 800 dollars for a decent job. If you take it to a Maaco they will charge less say 400 to 500 but the paint wont match and will peel again in a year.
If your car is from the mid-1990's, and you see grey primer under the peeling paint, there was a problem with some of the primer used at the manufacturer. It may peel only on certain panels, but it is still expensive to remove the old paint, re-prime %26amp; paint. Looking at anywhere from $600-$800 for a small area to 2-3 thousand for a complete repaint.
