Can you paint white vinyl replacement windows another color, and not have a problem with the paint peeling off

The quality of the paint used on vinyl is important. Because the vinyl may have a slick surface, you need a paint that has superior adhesion characteristics. A top quality acrylic latex paint will provide that adhesion.

Oil-based paints are not recommended for use on vinyl.

There are some other things you shouldn't do when painting vinyl:

Don't scrape, sand or use a wire brush when doing surface preparation. This can permanently damage the vinyl

Don't paint the vinyl any darker than its original color. Dark paints will absorb the heat of the sun and can cause the vinyl to warp. They cannot go back to their original shape, and will be ruined. Can you paint white vinyl replacement windows another color, and not have a problem with the paint peeling off
It is not recommended to paint the vinyl windows. We used that new Krylon paint that is supposed to be for plastic and such and it didn't hold up. I think that white would go with anything. If you have some vinyl and some wood, paint the wood ones to match the vinyl. At least you know that can be done and will last. White windows are everywhere with every color of siding and roofsCan you paint white vinyl replacement windows another color, and not have a problem with the paint peeling off
I would not put that much money into windows and then paint them. White goes great with all colors.
