Best way to remove peeling paint from my shop which is galvanized steel. And repaint same.Shop is 25' x 40'.

Not sure what type of paint is currently on building.Best way to remove peeling paint from my shop which is galvanized steel. And repaint same.Shop is 25' x 40'.
i would suggest a pressure washer if it is outdoor or you have a concrete floor. just rent one and get up close and personal, or you could use a sandblaster. We did the pressure washer on my friends shed made of galvanized steel, worked pretty well, used a wire brush to flake off the excess that the water didn't get. The next time you paint, you need to make sure the surface is clean first so the paint adheres better!Best way to remove peeling paint from my shop which is galvanized steel. And repaint same.Shop is 25' x 40'.
You can rent a small sandblaster and it will remove the paint and rust quickly and easily. If you have an air compressor it will be a cinch otherwise you may have to rent that as well. Then I would prime it with good quality primer for galvanized metal and finish it with recommended paint for the primer.
Apply Stripsol or any kind of paint remover will do.
